Wide variety of widgets: Winstep Xtreme offers a great variety of widgets to add to your desktop.
Total desktop customization: With Winstep Xtreme, you can create any desktop. You can remove any extraneous items from your desktop and replace them with a streamlined series of docks and widgets that provide you with the functionality and look that you want.
Workshelf’s tabbed dock: This is an alternative to a standard icon dock that allows you to create a tabbed dock. This is a fantastic organizational tool that allows you to make large numbers of items readily accessible via desktop navigation.
Cons
Oriented toward older versions: Although compatible with Windows 8, there is something about the design and functionality of Winstep Xtreme that seems very much aimed at older versions of Windows. In the modern environment, the Metro interface is designed to take the place of many of these tools.
Bottom Line
